CHAPLAIN SAADIA AHMED, Advisory Board Chair

Saadia is a visionary community leader, nonprofit architect, leadership coach, and community chaplain whose work sits at the intersection of faith, service, and social change. As the Chair of 200 Muslim Women Who Care Dallas Advisory Board, she has united diverse Muslim women across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in a powerful movement of collective philanthropy building stronger communities for all.

An expert in community-led advocacy, leadership development and special needs equity, Chaplain Saadia has founded and sustained numerous organizations including Strong Muslimah, FLAG Mentorship Program for middle and high school girls. Her board service spans  Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Institute of Social Policy and Understanding, and the Arts and Culture Board for the City of Frisco among others.

With her training as a chaplain at Chicago Theological Seminary/Bayan Islamic Graduate School and her multiple fellowships, she brings a rare depth of spiritual care to her advocacy, serving as a source of healing for the communities she champions through individual pastoral care and support groups.

A recipient of the "Trailblazer," "Community Leader of the Year," "Unsung Hero", “Philanthropist of the Year”, and the “Fatima Al-Firhi Leadership in Service” awards, Chaplain Saadia leads with both conviction and compassion, coaching women as well as youth, mobilizing resources, and nurturing souls through spiritual counseling in equal measure.

SUBIA ALEEM AHMAD, Advisory Board Vice-Chair

Subia offers two decades of professional experience in communications and fundraising in the public and nonprofit sectors, with a specialization in multicultural outreach and community building. 

She earned her Bachelor’s in Political Science, as well as a Bachelor’s in International Studies, from University of California, Irvine. Subia will be working toward earning a Master’s in Communications from Johns Hopkins University in 2026-2027. 

Subia volunteers with numerous local organizations, including serving on the boards of her District-wide and local PTAs. She was awarded the Texas PTA 2026 Honorary Life Membership Award for outstanding service. Subia also created and led the global grassroots movement Team Liyna, working to register over 10,000 new donors to the national bone marrow and stem cell registry. 

Prior to becoming Vice-Chair, Subia served as Finance Chair on the Founding Dallas Advisory Board for 200MWWC–Dallas. Subia has lived in Frisco for ten years with her husband, two sons and two dogs.

MARIAM AHMED

Mariam Ahmed is a technology sales professional with a background in UX/UI, marketing, and revenue growth. She holds an MBA with a focus in Marketing and Revenue and brings a strong blend of business strategy, creativity, and relationship-building to her work.

In her career, Mariam helps organizations navigate complex buying decisions, solve operational challenges, and identify solutions that drive measurable business impact. Her experience in tech sales has strengthened her ability to connect with diverse stakeholders, build trust, and move complex conversations forward with clarity and purpose.

Mariam’s background in UX/UI and marketing gives her a people-centered perspective on communication, technology, and community engagement. She is passionate about understanding what people need, creating meaningful experiences, and helping ideas turn into action.

Her commitment to service began at a young age and continues through her involvement in community-centered work. Mariam is especially passionate about uplifting women, supporting families, and contributing to efforts that strengthen the Dallas-Fort Worth community. Through 200 Muslim Women Who Care Dallas, she hopes to help build connections, encourage collective giving, and support meaningful change led by Muslim women.

ADEEBA ALZAMAN

Adeeba is a community advocate and civic leader with a professional background in public messaging, nonprofit engagement and stakeholder relations. 

She holds a Masters of Public Administration degree from the University of Pennsylvania and studied Political Science in her undergraduate years.  

She currently serves as a board member with the Frisco ISD Council of PTAs and remains actively involved in advocacy and service efforts across North Texas. 

Adeeba lives in Frisco, Texas with her husband and their two active children. In her free time, she enjoys women’s basketball, reading and traveling.

 

AMENA BAKALI

Amena Bakali is a Dallas native, having volunteered with multiple local nonprofit organizations over the last decade.  

Her experience spans marketing, fundraising, event planning, interfaith work, and community service.  

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.  

She currently runs her own business in travel and marketing, and lives in McKinney with her husband, and three kids.

AMANDA DAHAB

Amanda is an entrepreneur, investor, and dedicated mother of three daughters based in the DFW area. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of New Orleans, which has shaped her people-centered approach to leadership, business, and service.

As an entrepreneur, Amanda invests in and supports a diverse portfolio of businesses across real estate, edutainment, and fashion. She brings strategic insight, creativity, and a strong commitment to community impact to both her entrepreneurial ventures and board service.

Outside of her professional and board commitments, she enjoys traveling, attending her children’s sporting event’s, and spending quality time with her husband and family. She has a deep passion for philanthropy and has volunteered with multiple nonprofit organizations throughout the DFW community. Her commitment to giving back and supporting meaningful causes continues to drive her involvement in organizations that uplift and strengthen the community.

 

NAFISA DHARAMSI KHATRI

Nafisa Dharamsi is a local realtor with over 17 years of experience and a strong commitment to service and community leadership. 

She holds a degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida and brings a people-centered, thoughtful approach to her work. 

Nafisa is passionate about inclusivity, building meaningful connections, and helping foster spaces where every voice is heard and valued.

She is a proud mother of three children and two cats, and enjoys traveling, reading, volunteering, and spending meaningful time with friends and family.

SAMEENA KARMALLY

Sameena Karmally is a former private equity attorney who practices estate planning law. 

She is a former board member of the ACLU, the Texas Muslim Women's Foundation, and the National Association of Muslim Lawyers. 

She founded the DFW Muslim Bar Association and is a former Girl Scout troop leader. She is currently a PTA Board member and speaker with the GEM Civic Hub. 

She remains active in grassroots advocacy and political campaigns.

 
 
 

KENDRIA NYANG

Kendria Nyang is originally from Wichita, KS where she became a Registered Nurse. She discovered a passion for working with seniors and channeled that into a career. At her adult day care for seniors with dementia and adults with disabilities, Uplift 100, she serves as the Care Coordinator helping families navigate challenges that may arise while being a caregiver.

Volunteering with the Alzheimer’s Association she is able to provide education, resources, and a support group. 

Kendria is a loving, devoted wife and mom to five sweet daughters and one son, and enjoys traveling and watching TV.

BISAN HALUM SHALABI

Bisan Shalabi has a degree in Applied Technology and Performance Improvement with a passion for research-based practices. 

As a previous co-owner of a salon, she implemented innovative structures to enhance workforce performance and foster innovation. 

Committed to community service, Bisan is driven by a deep-seated passion for helping others thrive. 

Bisan loves cooking up new recipes and cherishes spending quality time with her husband and three kids.
