Dyma AbuOleim

Dyma AbuOleim is the founder & President of 200 Muslim Women Who Care. She is also a founding member of 100 Women Who Care South-shore, a former founding Board Member of Water Smart Tots, and a member of the Superintendent’s Advisory Council for the Education of Students with Disabilities.

Dyma is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelors in Communication. While driving her four children to activities around Tampa Bay, she enjoys listening to podcasts and audiobooks. She's able to keep up with them thanks to CrossFit.


Farah Modi-Khan

Farah Modi-Khan is the co-founder and Vice President of 200 Muslim Women Who Care. She is a philanthropist and Tampa native which fuels her passion to support local people and causes in the Tampa Bay Area. She attended the University of South Florida for her Bachelors in Psychology but is currently a stay at home mom to her four young children who never fail to keep her busy. In her sparingly free time she shares a love for travel, photography, and interior design.


Reem Ali

Reem Ali is a Tampa bay resident of 20 years who has consistently been active in local charity endeavors and nonprofit organizations. She has helped assist in organizing events for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation and was an active member in reviving the Al Bireh society, a cultural organization focused on the preservation and prosperity of Palestinian culture and history in the United States. Reem is a devoted mother of 4 and pursues interests in health and fitness fields.


 Janan Siam

Janan Siam is a Lead Software Engineer and author at by LinkedIn, with over 15 years of experience building software systems for the healthcare, publishing, and aviation industries.  She helps empower women in technology by co-leading the Women Who Code Tampa chapter, and is a troop volunteer for the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida. Janan is a graduate of Boston University and is an avid Boston sports fan. She now enjoys a warmer climate in sunny Tampa with her husband and three children.


Salwa Barhumi

Salwa Barhumi is a Research and Learning Coordinator at Universal Academy of Florida and doctorate student in Instructional Design at Johns Hopkins University. Her research interests focuses on closing opportunity gaps among minority groups with college applications, enrollment and college persistence. She is passionate about creating tools to help make the research about learning accessible and used by K-12 teachers and administrators. She is a Chicagoan residing in Tampa, Florida with her husband and two kids.


dr. Minal Ahson

Minal Ahson is an Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of South Florida. She completed her medical education from the University of Miami, residency from the University of South Florida and a Masters in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She is devoted to humanitarian medicine and has traveled to many countries providing medical aid and serves on committees to continue these efforts. Minal is a Florida girl, but loves to fill up her passport whenever she gets the chance. She also enjoys reading and BBC’s Sherlock.


Lama Alhasan

Lama Alhasan is a lead software tester. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in psychology with certifications in Health IT and Agile processes. She is involved in several organizations at work and within the community, always focusing on equality and human rights. In her free time, she likes to eat foods from different cultures and cuddle with cats. In between, she enjoys travelling around the world, one day hoping to visit Palestine, where she is originally from.


Saima Siddiqui

Saima Siddiqui works as a risk management professional at a leading professional services firm, with over 20 years of experience in the field of accounting and risk management. She has a passion for humanitarian causes, in particular women’s issues and brings many years of experience having previously served on the board of a not for profit organization. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her family. She values a life lived with authenticity and purpose, this quote from Dr. Seuss summing it up perfectly: “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”


Dr. Samina Reza

Dr. Samina Reza is an oncologist, so by day she's devoted to helping people. But beyond her professional duties, she is committed to philanthropy and community service. Heeding the saying, "think globally, act locally", she believes strongly in integrating our efforts into investing in and building a stronger local community as a path toward a better world.


Kathleen Sullivan

Kathleen Sullivan is a commercial insurance consultant. Active in the Tampa Bay community, she was a finalist for Businesswoman of the Year by the Tampa Bay Business Journal and has served in various leadership roles with state and local insurance associations. Kathleen is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a major in Clinical Dietetics. Married with three children, she has a passion for health, wellness and anything that makes the world a better place!


Ameenah Rashid Jackson

Ameenah is a registered nurse, certified doula/birth educator and perinatal wellness coach. She specializes in labor and delivery and behavioral health nursing. She is dedicated to empowering women through developing a healthy mind body soul connection in pregnancy, birth, and as new mothers. She is passionate about creating safe supportive spaces for African American women to be pregnant and give birth. As a graduate of Howard University in Washington D.C., Ameenah is committed to community involvement and has volunteered with several local organizations. Ameenah is a mother of 4 and enjoys traveling and CrossFit.


Kaukeb E. Malik

Kaukeb E. Malik works as a Financial Director at the Tampa Bay Hand Center. She has her Master’s in Middle Childhood Education, with experience in public, private, and charter schools. Kaukeb is active in the community, and brings years of nonprofit Board experience, having sat on multiple Boards of Directors. In her free time, she enjoys reading books, traveling, and spending time with her family.
